Barcelona Flamenco Festival: Begins the 29th of May 09
Girona Flower Festival:Begins the 9th of May 2009 – out of town in Girona.
Primavera Sound: Huge concert festival in the city. 3 days of music.
June-
San Juan: All night Party all over the city and its beaches. June 23/24 2009.
Sonar:International music festival: hip-hop, Grace Jones and more. June 18th – 20th.
July-
El Grec Festival:Theater, dance and music for a month!
August…… not much happening.
September-
La Merce: Barcelona celebrates itself for a week. A great party.
Bam Festival:Celebrating independent music. Usually happens with La Merce.

August not much happening?? Nooooo…. there is the Festa Major de Gràcia (Aug 15-21) and just after the Festa Major de Sants (Aug 22-29)…
Good point! Gracia’s Festes are coming up next week and the Sants festes should be good too!
