Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

By Nancy Todd Roy Lictenstein has his wacky, in your face, sculpture in many countries in the world.  He was one of the kings of Pop Art during the sixties playing it big in New York City with Warhol and the boys.  Comic books were a big influence in his life.  Where in Spain is [...]

Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

I can see different moods of a city by standing on a bridge. Photo Friday on The Scoop takes you another bridge that is a high contrast to the rich history of the city where this bridge raises it's bright red facade to the sky. Where in Spain is this?

Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

Circles ingeniously form the structure of this bridge in Southern Spain. I have walked this bridge many times and it is a beauty at night. Lovelocks are clipped on by the thousands signifying a couples unending love. They throw the key into the river to pledge their love for eternity

Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

The Photo Friday bridge theme on The Spain Scoop continues. This bridge is a very short bridge, but what a great view. The river, once roaring, has turned into a trickle. The river supplied the city in this arid land with crops, palm trees, and bougainvillea. It is discreet and a charmer.

Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

Some hints: It's in the south of Spain, waaaaaay south. It's known for being windy and therefore, popular with windsurfers. It's very 'hippy'; lots of vans and long hair along these city streets.

Frank Gehry does it again. Controversial as he is, I resonate with anyone that thinks out of the box.
