Earth Day in Barcelona

By Nancy Todd                          Comments by The Blog Dog

Celebrate Earth Day, April 21-22 in Barcelona’s largest park, Park Ciutadella. Dozens of vendors sell local cheese, breads, sausages, honey, etc.  Ready to go food from paella to pasta.  Artisans sell locally made and imported crafts.  Info booths, balloons, and butifarra (dark sausage).  Musicians and dance.  A great day to saunter with friends and hearald the earth and spring.  The first Earth Day in Barcelona was April 22, 1970.   Way to go Barcelona.

Locally grown food.
