It is Menorca. The photo looks like it was taken in Ciutadella de Menorca – where you are staying on your private yacht! Please write a post about the differences in the spelling of Majorca/Mallorca and Menorca/Minorca. Do Ibiza and Formentera have alternative spellings? I am puzzled by the difference.

Hi Mark!!! Good to hear from you. Yes, it is the island of Menorca and The Scoopettes definitely travel by private yacht of course! Mallorca and Menorca are Catalan, and I see the island names spelled different ways in travel related info. I have never seen alternative spellings for Ibiza and Formentera.

Minorca and Majorca are anglicized spellings. Ibiza in catalan in Eivissa.

Apparently in Catalan ‘Ibiza’ is ‘Eivissa’.
