Photo Friday – Where In Spain Is This?

By Nancy Todd

Summer days are scorching in Granada.  I got off the plane and it was 114 degrees in July.  After meandering the Alhambra during the day, I spent time at night around this beautiful fountain with the locals who came out to cool off.  Buying an ice cream cone on the Plaza adds to the cool night air.  What plaza is this?

where in spain is this? granada alhambra

It has to be the Fuente de las Batallas in the Plaza del Campillo. I have photographed that fountain a lot!

Yes, I think it’s close to el Parque de Garcia Lorca? I have great memories of that park and I had some friends who lived in apartments near there.
