I love a bridge. Short, long, made of stone, bricks, steel. Bridges unite, connect community, and give one a totally different perspective. November’s Photo Friday is all about bridges. This bridge is amazing. Designed by Spain’s famous architect, Santiago Calatrava, it’s a pedestrian only bridge. It’s original glass walkway, tinted green to blend with the river, had to be replaced with a tread as people were falling. Even with the replacement it is slippery. So what? For me, it is a photographer’s dream.
