Pals is a name that makes me pause. Pause in effort to come up with some sort of pun, but I’ve got nothing. What I can tell you is that it’s a hill village in Girona, Catalonia. I was tipped to go to Pals by locals in Barcelona who said it was a true Scoopometer 10, maybe even an 11. And they were right : it’s one of the area’s prettiest towns. Stop off at Pals for lunch, a coffee, and a stroll through its worn streets. Go with a pal so you have someone to to ‘ooooh’ and ‘ahhhh’ with (yes, I had to!).
