It can be challenging, I know, to come up with a title as a writer. Some writers spend months looking for the right word combo to head their work. This same thoughtful process is surely too experienced by business owners, when looking to name their new shop, cafe, etc.
Still I wonder how the owners of Me and My Bitch, another Barcelona attraction, came up with such a name in Spain. Did they think it sounded good in English? Do most of the people strolling past the shop in La Barceloneta even know what it means?
Me and My Bitch is a ‘vintage’ store, selling clothing. It’s new, and I’ve never seen too many customers in there. While it may be in style to have an English name these days in Spain (and indeed, in other parts of the world), I’m not sure Me and My Bitch is the best choice. How about Me and My Dress, or Me and My Poodle or Me and My Hamburger?
One day I might get up the nerve to do in and ask the owners of this establishment just what the hell they were thinking…for now it’s a mystery!

This is HILARIOUS.
Umm. Interesting. Doesn´t exactly entice me inside. Did you go in?
I did, it’s a tiny place with used clothes!
