Festival held in Philip Neri Plaza, one of my favorite plazas in Barcelona. Free admission to plaza events.
By Nancy Todd
The Jewish culture has been linked to Spain and Barcelona for hundreds of years. The purpose of the 13th annual Jewish Film Festival is to create a space to disseminate information and make known the inter-cultural nature of Jewish history. Barcelona arts boogie all year round and crank it in the summer. Check out the Festival, June 5-10.
In addition to films, there will be round table discussions and music. Classic films as well as contemporary films will be shown at a bargain price of four euros for a film at the French Institute. Free movies will be held in Plaza Philip Neri, one of my two top fav plazas in the city. The Scoopettes love good movies and can’t wait to attend the Festival. The Scoopettes recommend Easytobook.com when searching for a place to lay your head in Barcelona, and all other major Spanish cities.
