Photo Friday! Where In Spain Is This?

By Nancy Todd

Antoni Gaudi’s buildings continue to reign and inspire as top tourist attractions in Barcelona.  Even the residents of this architecturally intriguing city stop to roll their heads skyward to gaze at his oddities.  The man thought out of the box, and whether you like his work or not, you have to respect his creativity.  How well do you know his architectural details?  Where is this photo located?

Mark, yes you are correct, Casa Batllo. In the discussion I have been having with readers about light, It is amazing to go to Casa Batllo to catch the light at different times of day. Sometimes, in the evening, there are events held on the other side of the windows in the photo on Photo Friday. People mingle, the stained glass is brighter and different at night. Brings the building alive and I think of how it must have looked in the 1800′s with a party going on.
