Diary of a Stay-cation: Part 4 – When the Marijuana Blooms in Barcelona

It is unclear what the law on using and growing marijuana in Barcelona is. Is it legal? No. No entirely. However the police seem to turn a blind eye, and there are many bars where people smoke marijuana quite openly and without fear.

Is it an enormous eye? Is it a futuristic wonderland? I’m not sure what to think of the The City of Arts and Sciences’ design, but one thing is for sure, it’s different. Designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, many visitors come to The City of Arts and Sciences just to admire the innovative buildings form the outside.
